Power of Belief

I've come to the understanding that in TES that the worship gives power and shapes the world. Daedric lords use cults to manifest etc.... My question relates to this concept; what happens to Lorkhan if a massive amount of people began to worship him? He's dead-ish yes but could enough prayer and worship revive him or potentially resurface the heart? I guess this question would apply to all the aedra as well. Since they are not as "dead" as Lorkhan but still have their power drained shouldn't worship grant them more power?

Furthermore I read somewhere that Orcs (I guess surviving Orcs) in Orsinum are trying to start the notion that Malacath is not Trinimac but some other deity and have begun worshiping Trinimac in his pure form. Assuming they are wrong, would a new define be birthed from their prayers in an image of Trinimac? Or would possibly Malacath be restored to pre-pooped form?

Wasn't this how Akatosh was formed, or atleast empowered by Alessia and her peoples?

Please correct me where I am wrong. I registered to inquire about this hah.

I can't seem to remember who it was that told me this, maybe NordJitsu, but MK supposedly hinted around that mythopoeic forces only shape the form of a god, rather than give that god power.

I don't really understand how much is shaped by belief. I know the Aedra are.. but can they be "believed" alive? I also don't understand how Lorkhan is considered dead but the others aren't. Nor do I understand how Talos is affected by belief.
