Micah listened to the sounds of the music playing. He sat inside his room, waiting for his parents to get back. He wanted to go hang out with his friends, but if he left his room without permission his dad would hit him when he returned drunk. There was a knock on the door, when he opened it there was no one there. Micah started to close the door when someone entered the room and tackled him. Micah let out a yell of terror then he realized the person that had tackled him was his best friend, Gregory Thomson. Mica pushed him off him and said to gregory "What do you want?". Gregory laughed and said "There's a party in the marketplace, wanna go?" Micah frowned and said "You know I can't leave..." Gregory smiled and said, "I went to the advlts party on the skydeck, and asked how long it would last, and they said for at least 2 more hours." Micah smiled and said, "Then what are we waiting for. Lets go!" Micah and Gregory walked out of the room.

Micah and gregory walked into the party. The few kids that lived in rivet city were there. Gregory walked away to probably talk to some of the girls. Micah noticed CJ Young standing in a corner, with tears in her eyes. Micah walked up to her and asked "Whats wrong?" Cj looked at him and said "It's nothing..." Micah frowned and said "You can tell me." CJ said "Okay," she whipped a tear away and said "My boyfriend just dumped me for no reason, I didn't even do anything." Micah nodded and listened to her go on and on about how great her boyfriend was, Micah was only thinking about how she was like 7 and she already had a boyfriend. He was 14 and wasn't even dating. Micah gave her a quick hug after she finished and he realized he only had 30 minutes left. She had talked for an hour and a half! Micah told Gregory he was leaving and walked quickly from the party.

When Micah was returning to his house he noticed the door was slightly open. He opened it and screamed. His mom was laying there on his bed, with a knife sticking out of her neck, a look of terror frozen on her face. Micah screamed again and turned to run from the room but ran into someone. When Micah saw who it was he began backing up. It was his father holding another knife. His dad then began coming at him, "I knew your mom was encouraging you to sneak out so I put a stop to that. I hear that you are being bad in school. I think I'll put a stop to that also." Micah reached under his bed and grabbed his lucky baseball and swung and hit his dad over the head. His dad fell down in pain. Micah turned and opened the window and began to climb out of it. When he was about half way out, his dad grabbed his fee and pulled him back in. Micah screamed as his dad brought the knife down. Micah held up his baseball bat, and the knife struck into it. Micah smiled and then tood up and ran from the room, his dad still following.

Micah knocked stuff over so that it would be an obstacle for his dad. Micah opened the door to the stairwell and then began to run down the stairs, but tripped and rolled down the stairs. Micah groaned, and then he heard his dad laughing. "Lets go outside and finish this where we won't make much noise." Micah tried to fight back but he was dizzy from the fall. The next thing Micah knew they were outside the boat, by the nearby subway. Micah's dad laughed and said "Goodbye." Micah tried to yell but nothing came out. Then a bluelight came down on Micah. Micah began floating up in the air. Micah's dad grabbed onto him and said "Your not getting away that easy!" Micah realized that by now they were above the boat, still going up. Micah was still struggling with his dad, trying to get him off him. Micah pushed and his dad began to fall, his dad screamed curse words at micah, and then Micah fainted.

Micah woke up and he was in a cell, there were a few other people. He stood up and asked them, "Whats going on?" A man turned to him and said "We've all been abducted. Kidnapped if you will."
