I absolutely love Crysis 3. I play this game alot. I've done a suit reboot once. I been a $2,000+ dollar water cooled rig pretty much just for the opportunity to play this wonderful game maxed out. But in the end, I think it's safe to say at this point that Crysis 3 is dead online and it's not coming back. Not unless EA releases it as a free-to-play game. I know that will probably never happen but alot of games are picking up that trend. I think if they don't want this great game to go to a complete waste they should release it free.

The number players online in this game is pathetic. It's dropping into the ugly hundreds now. The DLC, no one plays the new maps anymore and they've barely been out a month or so. Lastly from what I read on here Crytek/EA is totally done supporting the game. No more patches, updates, maps, DLC, or anything else. I can already tell the hacking/cheating community is starting to take over.

Crysis 3 is finished. I love this game, too but it's no fun when theres hardly anyone playing anymore and a quarter of them are cheating. I can't even find a damn match of hunter anymore!

Releasing it as a F2P game was never the solution, and making it F2P now would only invite an ARMY of cheaters (getting banned = just make another account for free).

Also this is EA we're talking about, there is no such thing as F2P - only Pay2Win and horribly-mishandled microtransactions. I'd much rather play a $60 game from EA than a "free" game from EA.

c3 mp maxed on $2000+ rig? cos most ppl i know have ~$2k rig but have to play 1080p, low, no aa. n u probably need ~$3-4k rig to run c3 mp on 1080p max setting.
