Twin Souls (Conjuration)

Post » Thu Jul 11, 2013 9:50 pm

A quick question about Twin Souls in the Conjuration tree: can I only summon either two Atronachs, zombies and Dremora Lords? Or can I summon one Atronach and one zombie kinda thing?

Thanks! :)

It increases the Summons a Player can have to two. A Staff can be used for a third Summon, or a second Summon for a normal character. I am on a PC and use a Bashed Patch to modify My Game, last time I played an unmodded Game a Summon from a Staff did not count against the Player being able to Summon.

Cool! I'm on Xbox and the use of Staves can help, but I was wondering if I can have one undead and flame Atronach with me permanently (the thrall spells).

You can have any two active at one time; they don't need to be the same.

It doesn't work with the summons from Dragonborn though.

The only thing the Twin Souls perk does is let you summon another atronach or dremora lord, or raise another thrall. In other words, you can now have two hoplessly enthralled creatures following you at the same time.

Really? Any idea why not? (I don't have DB yet)

BTW: I really like your avatar, it's almost a twin of my own black and white, even the black tear drops.

And thanks.

You can have a Dragonborn summon(Ash Spawn and Seeker) AND a vanilla summon/zombie. But you cannot have two Dragonborn added summons at once. Bethesda forgot to add their unique magic keywords to the Twin Souls check. lolbeth.

The exception to this is the Ash Guardian. You can him and two other for a total of three. The Guardian uses a unique "summoning" but you will find out yourself in Solstheim.

Sometimes I'll take Serana along as a follower. Being that I have the master level conjuration spells and the twin souls perk, I'll dead thrall two master vampires, who along with Serana will raise the dead. With Serana, my two thralls and three other raised corpses (from the thralls and Serana), I have an undead army of 6 fighting for me. Not that I need to, but if I added the ritual stone to that mix........well you finish the sentence.
