In the presidential suite of Lucky 38 there is a monitor hanging on the wall. It says it updates the suites, but I can not figure out how it works. I can't select anything on the right side, and even if I did, I'm not sure what it does exactly.

What is this upgrade thing?

The wiki says you can buy upgrades for the suite. I've never used it though, so I don't know exactly how it works.

Edit: Looks like the upgrades are extra storage and workbenches 'n stuff.

I also can't get ED-E to stay there. I dismiss him and the only option is he (it) goes to Primm. How do I dismiss ED-E so that he goes to the Lucky 38?

I think it's bugged somehow, but i have managed to buy upgrades with it. Just recently, in fact.

But i am usign the old Compiled Patch that fixes bugs.

It's supposed to be just like a normal terminal. If it isn't, I would say it is bugged.

okay, I used to have a roblem with the machine. The roblem was u could move ur mouse over something but it wouldnt let u buy. What u have to do is move the mouse more to the right or left, most times off the actual item and it will highlight. Once u have something selected then use the arrow keys to move up or down.

Yes. What Redneckdevil said. You have to move the arrow key around the terminal until you find the spot in which you can select an item to buy. I'm pretty sure it's around the price-tag of the item you're buying (right-hand column). As soon as you find it, vertically move down that list as you buy the different upgrades.
