Giant Radiscorpion Resurrected

Post » Thu Apr 15, 2010 11:20 am

Dude I started a new file (Very Hard/hardcoe) and when out towards Goodsprings' Graveyard, rolled it to the right and boom! Giant Radiscorpion. I knew they were there, I just had an idea like the Oblivion's Will-o-the-Wisp right. So I lured it into town and laughed my head off as Victor, Pete, and three other citizens died trying to kill this beast on very hard. They got it close enough to where I could shoot it with my Weathered 10mm and finish the job. Got the xp and rolled my sorry behind out of that dump and started my adventure. Well now the Giant Radiscorpion is resurrected in the middle of Goodsprings and refuses to leave lmao. Is this an common glitch??

Maybe since you pulled it there, it confused the game and changed it's spawning point. Things respawn after a few in-game days not sure the exact number so maybe that's what you are experiencing. Otherwise, not sure what could be happening. Also I am playing Very Hard/hardcoe (since I play every game on the hardest difficulty) and never experienced a Giant Rad Scorp there before so it might be something else going on.

I had a weird resurrection also. I was in Gammora and picking locks of the doors upstairs where the suites are. I happened to open one with a dead chick in it that, if you click on her, it allows you (with the right level of medical training) to inspect her and see what caused her death.... So I show up there later and she's walking around that room and smoking a cigarette. When i click on her, I got the same inspection text. :ooo:

If you go north north-east of Goodsprings graveyard there's a big nest of them. There's usually about nine giants milling about there.

I've never seen one anywhere near Goodsprings though. The weirdest place I've seen one is at the NCR Mojave Outpost at the south-east corner of the map. It mauled like three caravaners before the NCR managed to kill it.

I had all the corpses at the Tribal village AFTER I had looted their corpses reanimate and respawn their stuff and get into an argument with the Cazadores, which,of course, didn't go so well.Boone and I just stood back and watched the whole thing.Hilarious.I've seen that a lot actually.Zombification i call it.The dead arise and continue on with their daily lives as if nothing had happened. It's like the game forgot they were supposed to be dead. And usually they still have the death options available." Search Radscorpion" or "Search Burned Body" while they're walking around...weird.
