Losing

Post » Sat Jul 13, 2013 7:57 pm

Hello all,

I have been playing Skyrim for well over a year and I am starting to lose interest. Don't get me wrong, I still love the game, but I need something newer. I am playing Legendary Edition of the PS3, so I can't have mods/console commands. So what are your ideas?

1. Roleplaying ideas

2. Non- role playing

EDIT: The title is actually supposed to be Losing Interest btw.

Try a playstyle you haven't done before.

That's what happens when you play for a year. Me, I'm playing Oblivion.

What exactly do you mean when you say "only use items available in game"?

This.

Not too long ago, I did this with my friend where we both created new characters to play Dead is Dead on Legendary.

only difference is I had no HUD, and he did. :P

Anyway, it was an awesome experience. It was a lot scarier going out into the world, and we were definitely limited to just Doing what we want.

we started out by making money, getting good armor & weapons, supplying on Potions, and doing minor / easy quests in Whiterun before venturing outside.

I died at level 7, accidentally Power attacking forward into some burning Oil, my friend stopped playing at level 10, but has not died yet. :o

you could try checking out http://theskyrimblog.ning.com/group/character-building to find some builds that tickle your fancy. That's always my) go-to.

Let me give you a word of advice: If you ever don't feel like playing Skyrim, do yourself a favor and don't play it. Come back to it when the mood strikes. I haven't played in a month (DC Universe Online hooked me in again), so it might take a little time if you start to get bored.

My advice to you:

SLOW. DOWN

All kind of builds, even the more unique ones, will get boring pretty quick if you fast travelling around, killing everything on sight, trying to do every quest and get all the achievements.

Try being a thief this time around. Do breaks in, pickpock people, steal stuff, get a lot of coins, mine/buy/get/steal all the gold, silver ingots, gems, jewelries you can find, then start piling them in your basemant until your game crashes upon entering the basemant. (That's currently my Skyrim goal :D)

in all honesty I should add that I tried 3 times on legendary making it to lvl 16 once. replayed on expert and though it would be a walk in the park, but a frostbite spider got me on the road to windhelm. so now im playing master and I decided to give myself one extra life every time the game freezes. :P it's been working sofar, lvl 50 now but everything gets boring anyway after tradeskills

Why would you give yourself an extra life everytime the game freezes? :o

Couldn't you just save normally, and if you die force yourself to delete all of his/her saves? where Freezing means nothing?
