sword and shield

Does it get boring? I have been using it for some time.. I miss my dual wield style and speed but i guess it pays off because of the shield bash?

Im also thinking about going to some destruction perks and stuff to buff my elemental daamage on weapons, is it possible?

Im also an alchemist and pretty good at smithing. I prolly will not use either alchemy or enchanting and also light armor whatever the set up is. Main skill will be archery thats for sure. (xbows)

Sword and Shield is a basic playstyle. I found it enjoyable once you have the Shield Runner perk.

The Shield is a must against those pesky magic users who spam frost spells.

The left hand side of the Enchanting tree focuses on increasing elemental enchantments.

But thing is, is dual wielding funnier just because I can kill faster or is shield bashing that much more fun?

That's just an opinion. Both sides has its fans. I prefer the shield.

Well if you get 100 block using a shield there is a shield perk that lets

you sprint with your shield up, which allows you to send enemies flying

up in the air when sprint into them. Also if you get really good with

timing shield bashes and stuff, It could save you that little bit of time you need to save you

life from the huge hammer in the sky. :P

However one thing that is always good to have if you are going 1 handed is restoration.

I am a shield and sword warrior and I am the Arch - Mage in the College of Winterhold and I specialize in restoration.

Left hand is fast healing and my right hand is my Ebony Sword of Flaming FIRE!!!(Fine)

It's a lot more active and fluid, in my opinion. What I can't bear about dual-wielding is having to stand still to use dual attacks. Seems utterly useless to me, in that regard.

I find it real fun to use the slow time shout and power bash skeletons. It's really satisfying.
