ok so i just re-installed the game cause it was causing me some problems. I haven't put any mods on it it's freshly reinstalled but when I press play through steam, it goes through the Besthesda logo then I see Skyrims logo, but then the game closes back to the desktop and idk what to do.

Sounds like missing master and you do have some mods active.
