Stormcloacks..

Then my post from earlier kinda comes back. If you think the discussion is moot and you want to see them reduce in frequency, you should take the time to consider the following:

Like Skyrim doing it's own thing like most of the provinces are doing. It wouldn't be bad if either side won they know who the real enemy is and that's the thalmor. Not like a free Skyrim is canon either.

I like to think that the Lore simply states "the Empire, despite tremendous effort, cannot afford to hold Skyrim for long and agreed to let it secede"

Alluding that the Empire did its best but didn't lose: they simply didn't win

What kind of leader would demand that its people prove anything before providing for them? Being one of the land's citizens is the only requirement that needs to be met.

Maybe the Dunmer and Argonians aren't lazy as some say after all. They're among the workers.

That awfully sounds like a complete Stormcloak victory.

I wouldn't mind if Skyrim became independent, but after this Thalmor business is taken care of. Then, by all means. Let Skyrim become independent. If they can have "peaceful, allied" then by all means yes.

A nord leader. Nord culture dictates you prove yourself. What Ulfric wanted was support. Nords were providing support. Dark elves and Argonians were not for the war. Seems reasonable to me that you contribute to what the person you are asking for a favor from wants.

The dunmer (my phone thinks I'm talking about 'dinner') simply don't mesh well with the Nords. In turn, the Nords don't respect them and they're where they are. There are Altmers living pretty well in Windhelm

My personal favorite is it stating "The racist savages of the north, lead by their bloodthirsty and power hungry leader, defeated the Imperials and brutally drove them from their land."

But I don't see that happening unfortunately...
