Skyrim Final DLC

Post » Tue Jul 16, 2013 3:44 pm

Dear Bethesda, upon completion of the Skyrim campaign, I (and I speak as a wide community when i say) that the campaign doesn't feel complete without a resolution to the Civil war in this game. To resolve this, I recommend a larger game changing DLC invoking a crisis upon the whole of Skyrim much larger than any dragon threat that would either lead to a victory for Skyrim's people thus electing a new High King, or the destruction of the living races. Such disaster could be a large Draugr army controlled by a vastly powerful necromancer claiming all of the nine holds until it finally falls to a last stand at Windhelm or an invasion of one of the surrounding foreign lands such as Red Guards or (if the character picked the Stormcloak quest line) a vast Imperial takeover

It svcks, I know. There was so much potential for many DLCs. Can't help but feel that the PS3 was part of the problem. :(

I suspect that even when TES VI comes out people will still be bugging Bethesda for Skyrim DLC. "BUT YOU PROMISED THERE WOULD BE MORE COMING!!!!"

Yah they did and we got the same amount as Oblivion, but I suppose the next project definitely needed to get moving. So for the next games sake i'll accept not getting any more dlc.

Resolution to the Civil War: Ulfric wins or the empire wins. The end. Not much more to do there. The Elves take over and now you have a plot for TES VI.

And how many more variations of draugr and dwemer ruins can Beth Squeeze?... "Yay! more DLC!", First quest: Kill the draugr at Something Something Barrows. Explore Dwemer Ruin #78 and fight some more robots. Gain shout, Do more Damage to Damage Foes.

Yeah, unfortunate that they ended it as they did. Perhaps diminishing returns kicked in with Dragonborn? Somehow I don't see this as being the case. All in all, though, Skyrim feels unfinished to me, and I've stopped playing because of this. Well, another 4-6 year wait.

Is this true? Did Bethesda say they were going to make more DLC than they actually did?

Something among those lines. Though they did say there would be less DLC but with more meat on them.
