Recently, I've noticed some strange conflicts between three mods that all edit different aspects of the same objects/items, which didn't seem to me like they should conflict, at first. But as I have been investigating the problem, I am starting to wonder: If I create an .esp that changes one single variable related to an object (like, for instance, it's weight), without touching any other variables of that object, will the .esp file still store ALL the variables related to that object entry, and thereby possibly overwrite other things besides weight if it is loaded after another plugin that wanted to change a different aspect of the object?

If so, I suppose all changes would have to be included in the same plugin, or else I would have to use a script instead to alter a specific variable?

And while I'm here: Is there any way in the CK to batch-edit values of multiple objects (like the weight of a large number of items), or do I have to edit each of them one-by-one?

Yes, that is how it works. Sometimes, incompatible plugins (that both alter the same forms in different ways) can be patched using Wrye Bash.

Okay, thanks--this explains my problems! From what I can find searching around, seems like there's no batch edit for object values, so I answered my other question (I think).
