Have you read through the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/106063-morrowind-mods-faq/? You don't need an Internet connection to play Morrowind, but you might need it to get mods. Also, the CS is only for making and/or changing mods, not for loading them into your game.

USB thumb drives are great for this kind of task; they're getting cheaper with higher capacity all the time.

I bought a 1 gig drive for $10 the other day. I think I may be without a connection soon myself.

Well, my mother died a month ago, no insurance, no will, and a mountain of debt. Family finances are just under the keel of the Titanic somewhere... I'll be lucky to have a house when it's all over and done... I wonder if I can get internet connected to a tent?

Public libraries frequently offer internet usage but I'm not sure about using a USB drive since they can be used to introduce viruses. You can get internet access in your tent if one of your neighbors has set up a wireless account. If you scan with a laptop and locate one (or more), instead of stealing the service you can identify your under-educated neighbor and suggest security measures, then possibly get free service as a reward for not being a jerk.

in my area the public libraries have wireless the you can use with your comp so you could dl stuff that way.

i have been using a thumb drive for my MW needs for about 6 months now i don't have online at home. i would recommend to get wyre mesh & molx and as many tutorials as you can find so that you can learn your way around the CS i would also get nifskope and infravision along with gimp if you don't have photoshop. you could also get blender. i would get enchanted editor also. as for mods DL the biggest ones asap! that's kinda my issue the internet i have access to is 115kb/ps glorified dial up some how called broadband.
