New Mouse - Requesting Forum Opinions

Post » Thu Jul 18, 2013 9:06 pm

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting a new mouse soon. The options below are my prospects. If you have one of these, have an experience with one, or have an opinion on which is best, please let me know. I trust FPS gamer reviews more than Newegg or Amazon reviews... since that's what I play.

1.) Corsair Vengeance M95

2.) Tt eSPORTS THERON <-- actually a really good deal going on right now for this one ($24.99)

3.) Corsair Vengeance M65

Thanks in advance guys

How big do you want your mouse to be?

I'd personally recommend a Logitech G400, it's a 131mm mouse so a bit bigger than the ones you've listed (118mm-123mm). Anyone who's been in FPS circles will know about it's older brother MX518 being nothing short of legendary, G400 is exactly the same thing with improved optics and a better feel.

The Corsair M95/M65 are MMO/RTS oriented mice (even says so on their product pages :P), there's a ton of needless buttons and the software was pretty iffy last I heard.

Tt products...eh.

yes
^ This is completely wrong and horribly misleading, don't listen to this guy, he's insane.

The G400 has been superseded by the new G400s with upgraded optics and tracking. It's now 4000DPI instead of 3600DPI and has such features as "Delta Zero sensor" technology ( whatever that is ) : http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g400s-optical-gaming-mouse

I'm planning on modding it into the next version of my "controller" which currently uses a G400 3600DPI mouse for the "trackball" :
