Apart from Falmer and naturally venomous creatures, would Bandits, Foresworn, Necromancers, Assassins etc ever use poisons against the player if they had them in inventory?
Or would that need a special script?
Cheers!

They would need a special perk as the Falmer have. Since you seem to know what I'm talking about, I don't need to elaborate do I?
Well, I want NPCs to use poisonous potions against me.
So would just having Deadly Health poisons in their inventory do it? Would they envenom their weapons according to the poisons they have in inventory?
Or would I have to edit all the NPCs to have a perk to use poisons?
This probably. As far as I know, only the Falmer use poisoned weapons in this game and they need a perk to be added to them to do so.
Damn, that's a pain. I hoped they'd just use them if they were in the levelled lists and spawned in their inventory.
I think some mods that improve AI have NPCs drink healing potions during battle, so maybe I could make a script to make them use deadly poisons, if they have them? But I don't have enough skill and experience to make a major mod and edit all the NPC races and classes.
Falmer just have a perk that makes every weapon and arrow poisoned - they don't actually use poisonous potions like the player does.
Thanks for the help, anyway!
Cheers!

That's the perk that make them use poison on their weapons (arrows are not poisoned btw, unless this has been fixed recently). It's the workaround the devs have found for the falmer poisoning their weapons.
But they do not actually use poisonous potions do they? That have a hidden perk and associated SPEL that applies a poison damage multiplier to their weapons?
It's like the are using poison and putting it on their weapons. Their AI cannot do that, hence the perk.
