tonight i was on my way to a quest and i found deepwood redoubt and i was attacked by forsworn and after we killed them all my companion vorstag attacked and killed my horse!!!!

I guess he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

They need to fix them in the future.

Im feeling the same way about Vilja an Kharjo vilja never shuts up talking an always wants a word every time we stop an kharjo is slow as hell an i even lost him last night an spent about 30mins fast travelling all over skyrim just to find him an off course he ends up been somewhere ive never been with him along with my 8 missing sabre cats

Both followers and horses (especially horses) are bad news.
You don't need either, and will have more fun and gain more skill experience, by yourself.
Plus when you have both (like you) they'll hit each other during fights and become 'enemies'...

If a horse gets in the way of a companions or your attack and it takes damage, your companion treats it like it is hostile. thats what I have seen happen to a few of my horses. I'm glad I have a horse called Arvak.

To the OP, seems your horse had an straying hoof.

I've never had Vorstag and a horse at the same time, but from my experience Vorstag has been nothing but good news. Same with Ahtar

According to the Vilja mod page :

Vilja is by default very talkative, but if it is too much for you (which would be understandable), you can easily adjust the settings in her dialog (Main topic: Travel together). She won't be upset with you even if you tell her to keep completely quiet.
