I don't have a huge amount of experience playing Skyrim, and the characters I've made in the past havn't been hybrid type characters. I've read a few "guides" online about Nightblade type characters (Stealth, Blade, and some magic are what I'm calling a Nightblade for this topic, other's definitions may vary) but most of those seem to be theory craft with no real experience playing the character they've created.
I'm not looking to min/max but more curious to know if a character with some blade skill (armsman 5, maybe up to some of the dual wield perks), sneak (backstab perks), then Alteration (for paralyze and magic resist), conjuration (soul trap, and bound weapons .... more for rp purposes, and no summon or reanimate .. doesnt fit the character I'm thinking of), illusion (I'd probably want to max this out), Resto (enough to heal outside of battle anyway), and some destruction would actually be a viable character ... or am I spreading my perks way to thin over too many skills?
I'm skipping smithing (since I play on normal smithing is just op), enchant (see smithing), lockpicking (the perks help but aren't really needed ... from what little I've played anyway), and any armor skill (I plan on using the Lord stone for some armor .. more importantly spell resist .. and not getting hit as my defense).
I haven't really planned out anything, I'll probably do what I always do .. dive in and just start playing the character and hope that skills aren't spread too thin ... even so any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
