When I joined the server and saw his name (which I won't say, but those that were playing know)I immediately said hi and we pvssyd in side chat about what's new and how he likes C3 etc.
But let me get to the actual point of this post..
We played at least 6-8 matches together maybe more. And even though he is not a C3 player, he is still very good- near perfect aim and amazing tracking will do that in any fps. But what stood out the most is his 'professional' demeanor. He didn't run around with silly easy weapons, or make comments about 'being lucky' if someone killed him. He didn't even care about how many kills he got or how many times he died (he was like 2-1 in most matches but could've been 5-1 easy). He even switched teams anytime they were imbalanced. We played a game of extraction, round 1 I think we had 9, so 3-4 minutes left round 2 they other team only had 1, he switched and they ended up with 7 making it much more fun for everyone. He didn't care if anyone thought he was good, he just played.
This was especially refreshing because you hardly ever see that in this game. Most of the better players need all the attention they can get, talking about how many kills they got, their kdr (as if that matters in a non-comp game) or even post vids showing how they can noob stomp and go 60-5 or something.
This game needs more professional players, not paid pros like my friend, but guys that go out there use there abilities to make the game enjoyable not more frustrating. Guys who play like this need to be mentioned and promoted in the gaming community because you will just never hear it from them, they lead by example.
P.S. he will be around using his real name until it becomes a pain, so if you know CS, say hi but don't be pushy.
