up to speed

Greetings. been awhile since I posted, long while. Can someone get me up to speed with Fallout?

I want to get the GOTY edition but I see it's not available for PC. I already have the original game

but would like to buy the rest of the series. But I now see were it require Steam to Run.

Well I got curious and went to Steam and a note says: Not optimized for W7. So now what?

I have some free time to play RPG again. Was either considering playing FO3 GOTY or catching up on TES.

Iv'e played the hell out of MW and OB GOTY, but nothing Skyrim.

Thanks fellow Beth players. -oldplayer

Get Fallout 3 GOTY on Steam. Mine is non-Steam, but I am on Windows 8 and it runs like a champ!

Just make sure you have http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off, or just have Steam installed to a different location than the C drive (I have mine in My Docs).

I thought about what you said, getting it all from steam but the note about not optimized for W7 has me wondering.

Thanks!

Sure thing :D

Also, if you have a quad core, you must apply http://www.sevenforums.com/gaming/20199-fallout-3-windows-7-w-quad-core.html!
