Clock everything at stock (CPU,GPU). Open side of case to help ventilation and add fans. Summers here more temp is more crash.
Me too had to throttle back 2 weeks ago, same problem. Stable on stress is not stable in game, idk why.

It's your overclock. I can run my gtx 470 at 850mhz stable on all of my games but C3. i have to set it to stock to run C2 stable. Otherwise I get the dxgi error at about 15 mins into gameplay. My gtx 470 is on water and never breaks 70c so it isn't temps.

Or it's a driver issue. The gtx 560 ti I had a few months ago ran C3 just fine at 999mhz with no errors. Then it went out and it took two months to get a new card. A few drivers had been released since then and now I get the error when I o/c my gtx 470. Try this, set your clocks to default and run the game. If it still throws up the error then keep your clocks at stock and raise the voltage by .10. That should do it.
