I could make such a panel, and in fact have in the past, but the problem is that Morrowind doesn't render the alpha properly. The water will "disappear" at certain angles. It's one of the things I had hoped the MCP team could fix.
Unless it's ok for the panel to not have alpha, but I suspect that wouldn't look right.
Aah yeah, forgot about that, just remembered problems with my girls going bald when I take a swim with Westly's hairs. <_< So is it possible, or would it look totally distorted? But how did they made nenuphars? If I remember correctly they are alphaed and I've been using them on water pretty often and I've never seen it or the water distort..
Morovir, what values for the alpha did you try? I just tested this with a tree canopy i had, and it works great, i never saw any water disapear, i swim around it and looked from all angles, above and under.
Chaka ZG: Morrowind already has a fog model. furn_mist512.nif and furn_mist256.nif. I added this fog model to the swamp model in MW hehe, so all swamps are now misty.. But i dont think it looks that good, its kind of choppy, i can see why they didnt use it(?). I can create a plane of leaves for you, but doesnt the tree already have a plane of leaves? It's supposed to have lost all leaves and now they're in the water?
Yeah, it looks weird, besides placing one behind another makes them terribly bright even on bigger distances, so it looks weird from certain angles.
I don't mean on the tree, it's like...a woodlike place, which has some trees, and I dug up ancient folder with permission and model of falling leaves from Lady Eternity. However most of the surface bellow is shallow water instead of roads and stone etc so I thought to add a bit of a swampy look by adding few nenuphars (lily's are they called?) and few of those floating leaves that "fell from trees". If you could make something like that it would be very nice of you
