Can anyone figure out why Better Criticals would not be available to me? I chose finesse, commando and such for sniping, but without better crits, they just don't have as much punch. :sadvaultboy:

No one has had a perk locked when it shouldn't be?!

Hmmm...i never thought to check the locked perks to see if it just may be a glitch. I just always assumed I didnt have the correct stats. Ill have to check this out

I kept waiting for it, just thinking I needed to be a higher level, but when I reached lvl 20 and it wasn't available, I knew something was up. For a moment I thought I simply lacked the requirements, but after checking my stats, there was no reason it wouldn't be available.

It's hard waiting two levels for perks, but when you'd like to stack perks only to find you've been locked out of one for no reason, well it's disheartening. Sort of makes me want to start over.

Which traits did you pick? Perhaps the one where you get -1 PER without glasses and +1 PER while wearing glasses?
I believe this would mean your Perception counted as 5 (-1 of whatever you have) when working out if you can take a perk.

Sounds an awful lot like you may have taken the 4 Eyes perk and used its +1 perception WITH GLASSES ON instead of your base perception score.

If so, then this isn't a glitch/bug.

The traits took were trigger discipline and heavy handed.

Most Hats also give +1 Perception, which also doesn't count towards perks. Only Base values count.
