Accumulative Weapons And Armor

One thing that has alway troubled me about FO and ES is how fast weapons and armor become

second hand garbage equipment used primarily for monetary vale or are left behind because

of weight issues. In FO some weapons and armor you combine into others as a repair

option witch is great yet I still find myself discarding a lot of weapons and armor.

Accumulative weapons and armor would solve this problem.

think about it rather then have points go into weapons and armor

why not have weapons and armor upgrade each time you combine them?

A 10 mm pistol would no longer become obsolete also if you love a type of armor

no problem simply continue combining that particular armor set with itself

throughout the cores of the game it will continue upgrading.

Not only would accumulative weapons and armor keep all weapons and armor types relevant

throughout the entire game it would also greatly reward exploration and looting.

How this works simple the weaker the weapon or armor the more common also the more combining

it together it will take in order to equal a more powerful weapon or armor type.

The more powerful a weapon or armor the less common also the less combining it will take in

order to become that much more powerful.

All weapon and armor types can equal one another however thay have to be from the same class

all light armor can equal one another but light armor can't equal heavy armor if fully combined

same goes for small guns and big guns one handed and two handed.

Befor anyone says "well I don't like the fact that a 10 mm can become as powerful as a magnum"

understand that the accumulative effect of the combining would be maid to be fair.

example a magnum combined 10 times would equal a 10mm only if the 10mm was combined 100

times.
