So I have been searching for a fix for a few months now and I have not found one that works. The only way I haven't tried is the solution of deleting DB DLC and the latest patch, repatching before reinstalling DB DLC and then going back to a previous save before entering DB DLC. Has anyone at all found a way of actually fixing this since Bethesda don't seem to care for fixing this glitch.

Do you mean at the regular quest line of dragonborn, or at the last fight with Miraak ???

Sorry, I am referring to the fight

If a dragon is disintegrated from Dragonborn Force, Miraak is unable to absorb the dragon's soul.

Also after slaying a dragon, if its corpse falls into a body of water, Miraak will be unable to steal the dragon's soul away from the Dragonborn.

People need to stop using weapons that deal 500 damage on him. Load the save before the fight, before you teleport to where you ride Sahrotaar.

Killing him too quickly like the previous poster said can cause issues during the fight. Not installing the latest game update is known to cause this problem, but it sounds like your game is patched properly.

You guys are saying everything everyone else says that doesn't work. I have sat there punching him and it does the same thing.
