Adding Collision to Webs via Nif Scope Not workin'

Post » Sun Jul 28, 2013 12:10 am

Straight to the point, I'm trying to add static collision to several fxSpiderWebKit Pieces, and I have followed the tutorial http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/Skyrim/Adding_Collision_Mesh_using_ChunkMerge#Appendix:_Skyrim_havok_material_definitions to the T, and can't seem to figure out the problem.

My final mesh shows a collision boundary when I open it in CK preview and hit F4, the model loads just fine, but still has no collision.

I'm not really sure where to go from here. I think the problem may be caused by the web's NiAlphaComponent, but not really sure what to do.

I have provided a link to a screenshot of NifSkope Showing the current model I am using and all of the branches.

Appreciate any help.

In the BSX flags, did you "enable Collision" ?

How do you do that? I don't see it under the BSXFlags Block Details

EDIT: Actually, I found it. The BSX Flag is set to BSX [1], which according to Nifscope is collision, so I think the answer is yes.

I tested it myself, made a quick collision in Nifskope and when I set "enable collision" it works.

In NIfskope it should look like this:
