Detect damage of an incoming attack?

Is this possible? Having trouble finding functions for this, or figuring out how I would go about making my own to detect one.

I could do a hacky-method of where I detect the base damage of a weapon used by an aggressor followed by their skill in one/twohanded, and then come up with a figure there. The issue is that this obviously wouldn't work for creatures, since they don't use weapons (they just use "hand to hand" with a set damage value).

I'm open to SKSE, by the way.
