I've wondered what most do when put there, if they let a character's race/whatever decide or guide them.... or if they just slaughter away

One of my characters killed the three of them; all the others kill(ed) Astrid.

I kill Astrid now. They're just chaotically evil. The ending of the quest I also don't like.
