OK so i recently bought fallout 3 goty and everytime i launch it it just come up to the small window i hit play and then nothing. I think i have found my problem but it involves the fallout.ini folder which i dont have. I know you must launch the game to get the file but i cant launch the game so any help on how to fix my game or get this folder. I eve n have nexus mod manager and when i run fallout 3 on it its specifically says you dont have the fallout.ini folder please run the game before trying to install any mods. But as i have said before i cant run it cause it does nothing. and im on WINDOWS 8

Fallout.ini is not a folder, it's a file. There are two of them that are needed, Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini. These will be created in the My Documents\My Games\Fallout 3 folder when the game is launched for the first time.

I know, which is why I asked you to post a Dxdiag. Once we take a look at your hardware and drivers, maybe we can figure out what's happening.

Actually, there is one other thing - have you downloaded and installed the latest Games for Windows Marketplace client from http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/downloadclient? The GFWL version that shipped with the game is outdated and no longer works.
