I managed to get 4

All 37 of them on my second play through of Dead Money.

On my first time playing the DLC I was probably only willing to try and take two, I can't really remember.

There's video guides on youtube on how to get them all out without using console commands or glitches.

got one as a trophy, all the new stuff from the dlc was more important to carry out. (although the only thing i actually used after i escaped was the holorifle and the assassin's suit (until i got joshua's armor that is))

Nothing is more satisfying than stealing all 37 out from under Elijah's nose.

It's the biggest possible middle finger you could possibly send to the guy.

I'm with you on this one.

The satisfaction you get after you get back to the Mojave with all the gold is amazing. The only down side is the fact that you have too much money with nothing to spend it on.

I got all 37, now they sit safely snug and (In my mind) neatly stacked inside the chest at the foot of the bed in the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite.
