Could anyone post the location of the best Ayleid Ruin to explore? I'm really interested to see other peoples favorite Ayleid Ruin. If there's a background story to the ruin then post that too.

I've not gotten around to explore much of any yet but when I do I'll let you know.

I think one of the best first Ayleid ruins to explore is Vilverin, right across from the sewer exit. It contains a couple of little "stories" that you uncover by reading various bad guys' notes, and it provides a bit of an introduction to the various traps and dirty tricks that these ruins can contain. There's a good amount of loot, and a few challenging enemies (but not too many at a time, if you're careful and sneak.) It also contains an object that will lead to a whole mini-quest-line.

Ah yes, I started this quest on a previous character but never got around to finishing it. I'll do this some time on my current character.
