» Mon Jul 29, 2013 3:02 pm I recently got back into Skyrim (finally have a computer able to play), and installed a number of mods. I am not new to mods, having played both Morrowind and Oblivion (I was something of an expert back in the day when it came to Morrowind modding). Anyways, so after setting up and installing my mods, I started to play.
Now, I tested the mods, installing graphics mods first and playtesting those. Then gameplay changes, then npc additions/changes, followed by creature additions/enhancements. At all points the gameplay was fairly stable, just a few glitches.
After getting them all installed and actually playing, I get random random freezes and glitches. It can happen 5 minutes after loading or 30. And it doesn't just freeze the game, it freezes the entire computer. I can't altF4, I can't tab out, or alt+ctrl+delete. I have to hold the power button to force the computer into restarting.
I used Mod Organizer to install them, used Wrye Bash to create a bashed patch, Asis patcher, BOSS and TES5Edit to clean mods that came up as dirty, with the exception of mods that authors said to leave be.
My mod list is below. I am guessing that I am reaching the 3.1GB RAM limit, depending on what I am doing. I would appreciate feedback on the mod list, see if there is something incompatible that I missed, or a more stable version of a mod I am using, ect. Anything to help stabilize my game.
