Im currently an Altmer Assassin/Mage at lv 28, legendary from start. I see bears/sabre cats doing almost nothing to my bro on novice, with 400+ armor rating in legendary smithed + smithing gear smithed Daedric armor. I'm worried that, with light armor, it'll become too easy for me, with Dragonscale Armor. I'm currently trying to farm up smithing (trying to get lv 100 smithing/alchemy/enchanting), going through Halted Stream Camp for the Transmute spell. The enemies are tough, with leather armor, a glass helmet with +20% archery, and glass weapons, but I'm hoping it's worth it, so I can make my iron ores into gold ores and make them into gold rings.

Novice is easy mode. Especially with 400 AR. Since you'll be playing on Legendary, I would still recommend the AR cap of 567. Enemies on Legendary hit hard.
