Good paladin build for Master?

Post » Thu Aug 01, 2013 10:18 pm

Race: Imperial (my first ever)

Main Skills: One-handed, block, archery, restoration, smithing

Class: Warriror

Equipment: Going to try and start with full steel, steel sword, steel shield and healing.
Later in my main armour will be steel plate, Dawnbreaker, either shield of Auri-El or DG rune.

Companion: Vilkas

Tactic: Basically just to tank out opponents. Heavy blocking with shield of Auri-El. Release the stored energy and explode with Dawnbreaker. In the start, heavy tanking and restoration.

Will this get me through master? Lol, I'm extremely newbie, never ever played higher than expert. :P
I usually enjoyed the experience not the challenge.

Then stick to whatever difficulty you find enjoyable. There's nothing to prove here. Just enjoy your game.

As for your build, it seems fine. If you want that traditional "paladin" look, then I'd recommend a full-set of Steel-Plate. Dwarven also matches perfectly with Dawnbreaker while giving off a some-what "ancient Greek/Roman" aesthetic for your Imperial, if you're into that sort of thing. Imperial Heavy armor also accomplishes this, and you can find a closed Imperial Officer helmet in Meridia's temple.

Oh, and stay away from Valthume. There's no undead there or anything, I assure you.

Thanks for the input dude. I want to play master just to see if I can :). Also, Valthume seems like an extremely secure bustling rainbow metropolis. Which idiot would think there's any undead or evil dragon priests in there?
