Not a great many dungeonquest mods?

I was wondering, is this because there is not a great demand for more dungeons or some other reason?

I ask because I was thinking how cool it would be to make a bunch of new dungeons but I'm confused by the lack of self contained new dungeon content put out by modders. Would I be wasting my time/enthusiasm making new dungeon quests etc. Or is there some technical reason why people aren't doing it so much?

There are 246 mods in the "Dungeons - New" category on the Nexus, plus of course many mods in the Quests category also contain dungeons. How many were you expecting?

That said, I think there's always a demand for memorable content. Skyrim already has such a vast volume of dungeons, I don't think there's much demand for more of the same. But if you have ideas that will make your dungeons stand out from the volume of vanilla content, visually or in terms of story, flow, scope, traps, puzzles, or what-have-you--there's always a demand for that.

Haha so bad. Yeah the Nexus category thing wasn't working when I checked it yesterday. I see that there are plenty of dungeons out there. I suppose one of the big issues, although true for most mods I should think, is do you trust the modder's sense of balance etc. I guess using levelled content is the safe way to proceed. :D

I think there's always demand for unique dungeons with a good background story. Not to dis anybody, but I think many of the new dungeons are more or less standard draugr dungeons without any special twist. I think the best dungeon is one that fits the world of Skyrim yet brings something new to the table in terms of quests and general level design. I personally don't care about the thousands of tweak or cosmetic mods Nexus has to offer. There isn't that much content-adding mods out there when you compare it to overhaul mods. If you have a good idea for dungeon then I'd say go ahead.
