A friend of mine tried telling me that Interplay can no longer sell copies of Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics as per the lawsuit, but after noticing it still up on steam I went and found that they can only sell it up to the end of 2013. I did not however find any info regarding the future of their availability after this year. Though I admit my head hurt quite a bit after wading through all that legal mumblese.

So I was hoping maybe someone could tell me, will the original Fallout games still be available for sale after 2013?

Depends on what Bethesda decides to do with them. Nobody really knows at this point. I say, just get 'em while you can. GoG.com has them for cheaper than Steam most of the time, I advise getting them there instead.

Pretty much this. It'll be Bethesda's decision whether or not they'll continue to sell them after 2013.

Another advantage to getting them from GoG is that they're patched up to work on modern graphics cards and ready to play.
