Create Your Own Schematic

Post » Sat Apr 17, 2010 2:13 pm

This was a fun idea for a topic that was done over a year ago, so I thought I'd make my own if that's OK. What you do is create your own schematic for a weapon you can build at a workbench using junk and parts. Here is an idea I think would be a cool weapon:

Shock Box:

1 Camera
1 fission battery
1 Bobby Pin
1 Conductor

A homemade taser weapon that sends a powerful shock to enemies and can sometimes paralize them temporarily.

Makeshift Chainsaw

Bonesaw x 1
Leaf Blower x 1
Surgical Tubing x 1
Fission Battery x 1

Bonesaw as the saw part, Leafblower is the handle part, surgical tubing is the wiring, fission battery to power it.

Molotov Cocktail

Empty Whiskey Bottle x 1
Turpentine x 1
Pilot Light x 1
Bandana x 1

Bottle is the base, Turpentine is filled in the bottle and used as a flammable liquid, pilot light to fire it up, bandana is the little cloth that sticks out of the bottleneck

Tin Man Suit

Tin Plate x 10
Tin Can x 10

Actually for your molotov cocktail, I think pre-war money would work better as it's paper and more easily burnable, and more common then the headwrap. :)

Indeed, excellent idea. Plus, Bandana's come under Apparel and not Misc.

I was thinking of cloths, but didn't know any that count as an 'item'.

I envy your imagination, Assassin. Though, I am also happy to have that brain on my side -- it'll do good for our cause.

Hey, you're pretty creative, too, Sesame... perhaps you'd like to join us? You won't regret it.

Of course! In fact, I think you'll find I am actually rather friendly with the tower's residents. They're good people, who have worked hard all their life to earn their way into luxury.

Oh, and sorry I can't think of any schematics. I'm trying, but nothing clear comes to mind. :P

Yaaay! :D

Anyways here's a new idea.

Spraygun

1 Coffee Pot
1 Firehose Nozzle
1 box of Abaroxo Cleaner
1 box of Detergent

A type of gun that sprays poisonous chemicals on the opponent that slowly eat away HP. The coffee pot stores the mixed chemicals, and the firehose nozzles turns the spray on and off.

Bladed Fist

Medical Brace
Lawnmower Blade
Leather Belt
Wonderglue

Same principal as a Deathclaw gauntlet, but lighter (less damage more attacks in VATS)

Homemade Grenade Launcher

1x Firehose Nossle
1x Leaf Blower
1x Conductor
1x Leather Belt

It's based off the Rock-it Launcher, but instead of shooting junk, it shoots Frag Grenades. There's no Vacuum Cleaner so you have to manually load each Frag Grenade into there. The Leather Belt acts as a strap so you can still hold it while loading grenades.

The grenade is propelled with enough force to explode on any hard surface at short-medium range, but at long range, it is useless. (If the grenade doesn't explode, it can be picked up and used again.) It will not work if shot on water.

If you hit someone with a grenade and they live, they may be stunned for a split second, giving you enough time to reload and fire again when they recover.

If any grenade other than Frag is used, it may jam and not fire, fire about 5 feet, or fire normally.

Bullet-Punch Gauntlet.

Medical Brace.
Wonderglue.
Leather belt.
Required - 2 x 10mm Pistol in your inventory.

From each strike not only does the NPC receive damage from a punch, but they also receive 2 bullets at the point of impact as the firing mechanism and chambers from 2 10mm guns have been modified and are mounted to the back of the Gauntlet. 3 punches before reload. The best I could come up with.

2x Steam Gauge Assembly (One makes a scope the other is heated and melded over the key components of the rifle.)
1x paint gun (for its trigger)
1x ammo type (It becomes this particular rifles ammo use)
1x lead pipe (makes a silencer)

A very jerry rigged silenced hunting rifle :hubbahubba:

I really didn't need THAT picture in my head.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Deathclaw Pitchfork
1 - Deathclaw Hand
1 - Rake
1 - Wonderglue
1 - Leather belt

Like a deathclaw gauntlet, but does half again the damage. And it's a melee weapon.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Freezy Breezy
1 - Electric Fan
1 - Refrigerant Tank (found in a fridge)
1 - Fission Battery
1 - Crutch (for the butt)

Does moderate damage, but slows an enemy way down.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mole Rat Toot Gun
1 - Live Mole Rattie
1 - Cage
1 - Electric Fan
1 - Fission Battery

Ammo - 1 Can Pork and Beans + 1 Beer = 30 shots of incapacitating gas
