It seems odd to ask about Luddites in a forum which originated because of video games: but I was curious. Post one thing you hate (wish didn't exist) and one thing you love.

I don't like all of technology: for example:
While I love fast cars, and have a weakness for Jaguars (I wish I could afford a classic Jag) I hate cars and all they represent. They are smelly (fun to fix up, though) destroy roads faster than a carriage or bike would, then make distance insignificant, they reinforce the idea of personal property, and cannot be philanthropic, they pollute, they consume gas, and they isolate people who would otherwise take public transportation.

One invention I love is the egg beater. So many foods are better whipped.

Try to avoid posting things like "games" or "the internet". Your presence here indicates a penchant for both.

And say why. If it's not too much trouble, love...

We've had a lot of "things you hate" and "things you love" threads today for some reason, I think we should let the other ones run their course before we open any new ones.
