I can't even play my Xbox 360 Vegas game for more than 2 or 3 minutes without it crashing (freezing). It was only VATS until a recent update. Now it's horrible. Is a fix coming soon or should I go get a refund? I literally can't play the game without it freezing.

I'm having the same issue I'll be walking or if I just push the button to go into VATS it freezes....WTF :sadvaultboy:

i have a small fan i put next to my ps3, keeps it from freezing...most of the time

A friend of mine is now having his 360 freeze every single time he goes into V.A.T.S. For this reason, I have not downloaded the patch.

I am completely stuck in the game regardless of all posted cache/re load previous save suggestions. Any combat now crashes the game.
Just for the record:
Xbox360 w/250g (less than a year old)
Installed to hard drive
Obsessive number of saves
Cache cleared
Resolution set to 720
Attempted to pick up at various locations geographically in game

Only significant game breaker has been this now consistent crash, have only had a handful of bugs previous to this situation but now I am completely stuck (even when reloading saves from HOURS previous initial crash.

When was a patch released for XBOX? I haven't seen it yet.

The patch was released on the 22nd and the game will have updated in that time prior to you playing - unless you aren't connected to the internet.

I've suffered 1 freeze in 10 hours play; trying to unarmed critical hit a Ghoul that was stuck in the ground. By the third attack, my 360 gave up.

LOL I can play 4-6 hours straight with no freezing. 60 GB FTW!

Mine is completely unplayable (PS3). Constant pauses of up to 2 seconds and complete freezes. Every time it pauses/lags I think it has frozen.

What a joke, I feel totally conned, especially as they have not made any announcement on whether they are fixing it or not. I'll give them a couple of days and then return my game as faulty goods.

freezing here too. since launch with 35 hrs of play it only froze 3 times. since the patch, it happens all the time whenever there is a loading screen. it also froze when dealing with a certain trader in novac. not the med trader though. i can go through a transaction but when i try to end it and continue playing, it freezes. happens several times. i tried coming back later, still same issue. wont be making that mistake again since i killed her.

I've had probably 5-6 freezes in 41 hours. Not too bad.
