I like my potions to have negative effects and I like my poisons to have positive effects.
While I do pick it, I don't believe you're the only one who leaves it out.
I always pick it more so because the poisons become stronger once pure an can even kill a dragon in one hit an im talking revered an legendary thats if your a good archer an get the sneak dmg multipler but even with a melee fighting you strike them with a ravage health that does 50 damage over 10 seconds an the dragon is dead in 2 two 3 hits.
Not to mention the purer items are worth more.
The perk doesn't have any effect on the potency of a potion or poison. It just removes the lesser of the effects.
I never get it, because I found it to mess up some of my intended poisons. I mean, I'm willing to allow a boost to the enemies stamina regain, if his health is being depleted. Nonetheless, I have become attune to what ingredients work the best and which ones that can be added together without the extra irrelevant effects.
I took the perk with my first Alchemist and never took it again.
