Forges just ignore that option, like I don't have 50 gold ingots and emeralds...everything else is ready to go but the friggin' Gold Emerald ring! Anybody else have something similar happen?

Smithing bug perhaps. I thought maybe it needed Flawless Emeralds, but no. Just a regular old emerald.

I've never ran into this issue. Like it was said before probably just a bug.
