I was in winterhold and a blood dragon attacked.....well needless to say me and the guards started attacking it and he was defeated....I aint for sure who landed the final blow but I didn't absorb the blood dragons soul...anyone have some info on this?

Need more information...post load order? What have you done recently to your game? When was last dragon soul you absorbed? What happened between your last absorb and this one?

my load order is fine(I use BOSS)....the last soul I absorbed was a normal dragon...ive done nothing to my game lately this is my 3rd time threw and I never had this problem...I remember reading about this in the past so someone must know something....

Look for loose script file "dragonactorscript.pex" and remove it if you have it. If that's not the case then one of your mods probably has it within its bsa
