Quests that feel like work...

My vote goes to The Only Cure. I love Spellbreaker (I feel naked and defenseless without it), but that place is sooooo friggin' long and monotonous that it feels like a data entry job. Could just be me though.

Anybody else have a quest that they dread and put off for as possible?

Discerning the transmudane as well.

I liked the quest actually, but collecting the elf blood felt a like a job (a good one, mind).

HA! That's my second choice, but I've managed to blast through it recently. If you have all 3 words of Aura Whisper, the Master Illusion spells (along with the perks; you don't need to have the Apprentice to Master perks if you're a good Enchanter, but you definitely need the others, 9-10 total, depending on if you take Quiet Casting, from Novice and Dual Cast on up to Master of the Mind), and/or the Assassin's Blade Sneak perk, it's not only less monotonous, but it can be quite fun.

Definitely Bthardamz as my first choice.

Forelhost is my second.

Alfthand is third.

It is long, that's true but I consider it my character evaluation dungeon; if I can make it through without dying, I know I have a well built character.

"The only cure" is annoying, have to agree with everyone on that.

Alftand is horrible. It is a complete and utter monotonous slog.

The last part of the Thieves Guild quest in Irkingthand is a massive slog, too - if only because your supposedly competent Nightingale friends are complete and utter morons thanks to their bad AI, so they ruin your sneak attempts and get mobbed by Falmer.

Touching the Sky feels like work, too, at least after the initial "omfg new area, new art direction" wears off...especially going to the last Wayshrine, and everything is Falmer. Falmer falmer falmer everywhere, non-stop, yay.

In fact, I hate dungeons/quests with Falmer in them as a whole. No good loot, and I just find them boring.

Anything involving delphine during the main quest. That and every single cave or dungeon filled with Betrayed. Dear god I get bored of killing them by the hundreds and eventually just add myself to their faction and stroll around the Dwemer ruins in peace fighting the dwemer contraptions when required.

Yeah, the Falmer are terrible.

DG was terrible at this. I felt that the journey into Castle Volkihar was way too damn long.

As was the Soul Cairn and the Forgotten Vale.

That excavation one in Solstheim is getting really annoying. My Imperial finally just decided to bag it.
