What am I doing wrong with my package schedules?

At least one of the packages the attack at night package seems to be working properly, but my NPC never goes inside to sleep. I even made it so one package lasts for 8 hours, and the other for 7. The NPC should do the night attack patrol right as the sun goes down, then start heading inside when it turns to 5 AM. But rather than switching scripts, my NPC just alternates between standing completely still, and doing the patrol for the night attack script.

I believe there's something obvious I must be missing, but I don't know what. Can someone please tell me what I've done wrong with my packages? I'd be really thankful for any advice.

Basically, I simply want the NPC to patrol at night time, and then go inside to sleep just before the sun goes up, and repeat these two packages indefinitely. Apparently I'm really bad at making packages. Also the Creation Kits lack of a basic AM/PM system is disorienting me. I've seen package tutorials before, but none of them seem to be specifically about making an NPC go outside at night, then go into a specific destination to sleep before the sun comes up.

It may not be the packages--it could also be something like, is your interior navmeshed, so the NPC can path to the bedroll; or, does the NPC have permission to use the bedroll?
