EW scientist playthrough

Thinking of going to NV for the week, as I need a break from 3. Im wanting to make a science/energy weapons char which ill RP with.
High int, high perception, energy weapons, science, medicine as Tag. What actual SPECIAL, perks, weapons, and clothes/armour should I go for, especially early? I'm thinking FoA quests, give them meds, then get their lab coat. Might rob silver rush.. Any other ideas for RP, items, or perms?

If you've got the courier's stash, etc with the grenade rifle to begin with I'd use the aforementioned ordinance to kick[censored] the cazadors at the campsite north of goodsprings.

From there I would mash to New Vegas and pwn the Van Graffs into bolivian
