What!?

I have the SI pack.
I've been playing oblivion for 4 years now, and my disk got all torn and scratched up over the years, so I decided to buy a new one. The thing is, when I put in my brand new Oblivion disk, my Shivering Isles expansion pack wont work with it. The "Downloading new content" in the beginning goes away too fast and then it says, "There is some content that no longer exists and might not be able to load. Continue anyway?"
Has this happened to anyone before? I tried downloading the pack again, but even that doesn't work.
Help? :/

This should be in the hardware section.

Maybe the installation language is different or your previous version was a different zone version (I mean European version, American version and so on).

Did you purchase the same type of copy as your first disk. I mean if it was GOTY, then you would probably need to buy GOTY again.
If SI was purchased separately before, uninstall SI and reinstall that if that disk still works, otherwise you may have to buy it again.

 I believe Person Unknown already bought a new one and that is where the problems is occurring. Keeping the old installation, the new one doesn't seem to want to run the expansion quite right.

@Person Unknown, if nothing else has worked, all I could suggest is uninstalling the old scratched disc installation of Shivering Isles and re-install Shivering Isles using your new purchase. You should be able to still maintain keep your saves too.
