Avrusa has the same crazy disposition toward everything as Senna (+the other priestesses from the Temple/Dibella), Aela/Njada, Taarie, etc., i.e. says things like "leaving? take the world by storm, dearest..." and responds to "how are the kids?" by telling you how poor every house you own is, except for Proudspire Manor ("oh fine...there are so many guards here, I hardly have to worry!"), combined with a gravel-like voice that is absolutely not endearing. Her dialogue choices are pretty much the same as before, meaning you can ask her about being an alchemist before and, joy of joys, sell her nirnroot!
Gilfre has the nice-but-boring attitude a la Ysolda and most other spouses, and you can buy lumber from her (that can come in handy...no need for a steward, really)! Other than that, she is totally boring, other than the fact that (unlike Avrusa...), she is not essential, so you can, you know, kill her if you get bored or something (or, when dragons, giants, or bandits attack, there will be an entirely different sense of urgency, since they can kill your wife! FWIW, I actually prefer that element in my game...if your kids weren't invincible it would add a lot more drama to the game as well).
