The Civilians Outside of Fort Dawnguard

Does anyone have sympathy for them? I mean, that castle is HUGE. I would have loved the option of convincing the DG to let them in. Maybe even train them to fight, run essential errands, etc.

Thoughts?

I always thought they where the vampires that attacked the fort after you finish the first quest and side with the dawnguard but I think I'm wrong. Anyway if they're not vampires the dawnguard should of let them in in exchange for growing food or something.

Yeah, I feel pretty bad for them. The castle is more than enough to have them live there.

I seem to forgot as I only played the dlc once, are they out there begging or something?
Anywho I doubt I would feel bad for them as I'll probably enslave them and use them as cattle where they live out the rest of their miserable lives in a dark dank cell in a cave full of rotting human flesh.

So nah, I don't think I feel too bad for em. If they only knew how much worse things could get they would probably be thankful for their current situation.

They are there to lure Vampires into a trap, they are the live bait and it seems someone has already fallen for it.
