For the first time, I'm undecided on the CW issue.

you should chose the stormcloaks because they fight for their freedom to worship whoever they want as for the empire they are doing it all for the gold

PS: Ulfric didnt murder the high king he challenged him to a duel and according to the tradition anyone can.

The council perhaps. And Erikur. And Maven and some others, but this isn't true for common individuals. Unless you count the economic ties to the Empire as a reason, but those individuals wouldn't know that the two provinces would be economically tied together Empire or no Empire.

as mentioned in the game each jarl/king received a chest with gold(the big ones). And the empire just stop fighting the moment they heard about gold. Really??? THE EMPIRE couldnt hold off the THALMOR. <(ridiculous)>

That's unfair, both sides got cool guys and a-holes.

Rikke, Hadvar and Legate Fasendil are good people.

They received gold to shut them up. All the Jarls apparently. And the Empire stopped fighting when the Thalmor gave the option of the WGC. Bad, yes. But not because they wanted gold (that we know of. The council may have, but we don't know.)

Also stopped fighting because they lost so many men.

Now you could say that the legionnaires are there simply to do a job, and while I'm sure a lot believe in the cause, the cw mission does seem to make it look that way. But to say all of them are just fighting for gold is admittedly inaccurate.

Even though you're on the opposite side, well said.
