The battle with Miraak was harder than it should.

My character is a Nord warrior wearing dragonplate armor minus the helmet, enhanced to legendary. I don't remember the overall armor rating, but the chest piece alone was 273.

Dragon Aspect (all three words) was activated.

Weapon of choice: Dragonbone greatsword, damage 116.

Level: 40 Health: 380

Difficulty: Expert.

But surprisingly, Miraak's Fire Breath would always take a large chunk off my health and then his staves finished the job.

In the end I was forced to change it to Adept.

Hmm, its probable you have low magic resistance.

Most of my character have a fun and enjoyable time with Miraak.

What do you mean by low magical resistance? Stats don't exist in Skyrim.

If you mean the atronach stone, I'd rather not have to resort to that kind of thing.

There are Resist Magic enchantments, In addition to Resist Fire / Frost / Lightning ones as well.

I thought Miraak was too easy, I'm pretty sure I played on Master at the time.

You know, Magic Resistance?

The 3/3 perks in the Alteration school, Agent of Mara blessing, and the Lord Stone all offer that.

With low or without any magic resistance, magic users and their spells/shouts will hit hard.

Magic Resistance is always useful.

Hmm, nope, I had none of that.

I thought a high armor rating would be more than enough.
