What's your JAW DROPPING moment?!

Post » Thu Aug 22, 2013 7:23 am

I was riding on my horse along that open area with the steamy geysers and see a couple of mammoths. I decide to use this opportunity to fill up my grand soul gems burning in my satchel.

A giant steps into the fray to defend his mammoths and I find myself battling three huge enemies: the giant and the two mammoths!

Then POW, out of no where a dragon swoops down, grabs the giant and throws him off into the horizon. That left me smiling to myself as I turn my attention to the mammoths.

Then suddenly, second POW, I find myself yanked up into the sky in the clutches of the (same) dragons talons and thrown far off into the distance. Falling rag doll death animation follows.

I picked up my jaw from the floor after that scene.

Ok, your turn, what's your jaw dropping moment?

:)

I've never seen a dragon pick up a giant (or anything really). Is that a common occurance? Or do you just mean he bit him and tossed him?

I find it very very very very very very very very very rare, but yes, dragons can swoop down and grab you in their talons, fly back up into the air and throw you a distance. The dragon doesn't land during this sequence. Im on xbox

can someone back me up here

Fighting three dragons at once and summoning your own dragon while you are at it.

I have a tendency to Under exaggerate my expressions compared to most people, so I haven't really had anything I could call Jaw-Dropping.

I suppose the closest thing I could get was just finally playing Skyrim after all of the waiting for it to release :)

Never had this happen to My character, but there is a gaurd that will always die by being flung in Whiterun. I have seen this happen occasionally to other NPC's in the Game too. I have been chomped and ragdolled plenty of times because of Dragons.

That's what happened to me, except summoning my own Dragon part.

I was on Solstheim when a duo of Legendary Dragons ambushed me, to make matters a bit worse, an Ancient showed up while I was taking on the duo.

It was amazing.

I thought Todd Pinochio Howard once said that it was programed so only two dragons would be the maximum, and never three?

Almost everytime I'm on top of a mountain or high cliff and look at the landscape below. I never get tired of it.

Idk why, but the time meridia brought me crazy high up in the air after her quest sticks out in mind still. More of a Wtf moment than anything.
